Happy Halloween Friends!

This whole Friday Favs series began in honor of my mom and her LOVE for sharing good things she found—so it felt only right to include this fun photo of her with Barrett at the circus. She had just finished treatment for breast cancer, and—true to form—he sweet-talked her into that clown hat.  It’s perfectly fitting for Halloween and a sweet reminder that even in hard seasons, joy still sneaks in.

Now, let's stop clowning around and get to our Friday Faves!

This Week's Friday Faves

This week’s Friday Faves is all about my fun finds—think cozy layers, an easy glow-up, gentle tension relief, a curl-up read, and a snack I can’t stop reaching for. If you want the why behind each pick (and my quick how-I-use-it tips), keep reading—peek inside and snag what serves you. ā¤ļø

The Cozy (but Lightweight!) Bedsure Blanket

Everyone needs a cozy blanket, and this one has officially become the blanket in our house. I just bought several for our rentals and then grabbed a few more for home. I’ve loved Bedsure for lightweight bedspreads, and their blankets did not disappoint—lightweight but surprisingly warm, soft, and easy to wash (a must for rentals).

My son and his fiancée gifted me one last Christmas, and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s that perfect “curl up on the couch” layer without feeling heavy—and the price is so good you won’t feel bad adding an extra to the guest room. Consider me a superfan.

Crunchi's “Glow All the Way” Trio (Holiday Limited!)

This is the time of year I start missing my summer glow—and daydreaming about the Keys. Until then, this trio brings the sunshine back to my face. It pairs Sunlight Tinted SPF (lightweight, skin-first coverage), Luminescence Liquid Highlighter (that soft, lit-from-within sheen), and the 4-in-1 Facial Mist (perfect to set makeup or refresh skin during the day). These are powered by plant squalane and antioxidant-rich sea minerals to give you healthy, happy skin.

How I use it: Sunlight Tinted SPF all over, a dot of Luminescence on cheekbones/bridge of nose/cupid’s bow, then a quick mist to lock in hydration. Also—shoutout to their Tinted SPF Moisturizer: it gives me a hint of color, great coverage, and glow without the feeling of make-up. This is a holiday-only bundle (or while supplies last), so I say… “gift” yourself!

Kanjo Acupressure Mat (My Pranamat Dupe!)

If you’ve ever eyed the Pranamat (guilty—I splurged), the Kanjo set is a fantastic budget-friendly dupe my crew loves. I gifted these to the kids at Christmas and they’ve been a hit for easing neck, back, and shoulder tension, helping with headaches, and giving that overall “ahh” feeling when you’re consistent. It’s built with high-density memory foam core that molds to your body, topped with a soft 100% cotton/linen cover, so it feels supportive rather than flimsy. The BPA-free plastic stimulators are designed to hit lots of acupressure points at once—fair warning, they’re sharp at first, so start with a thin tee and work up to bare skin as you acclimate. I use the pillow for my neck and upper back and the mat for mid-to-lower back; standing on it for a quick foot massage is great, if you can tolerate. It even comes with a carry bag so you can take it on the go. If you want the benefits without the hefty price tag, Kanjo’s your best pick.

The Wedding Dress by Rachel Hauck

One of my all-time cozy reads. It’s a split-time romance with a soft thread of magical realism—four brides, one wedding dress, and a beautiful weave of faith, redemption, and timeless love. It’s the kind of story you curl up with and finish smiling. Such a great, fun read.

Ella’s Flats (My Go-To Cracker)

These are my new favorite “always in my bag” crackers. I grabbed them flying to Florida to visit Tom’s uncle this past weekend and they’ve become my perfect protein–carb–fat combo builder. They’re super flavorful, so crunchy, and actually filling. I get them at Whole Foods when they have them or online—not the cheapest, but if you love a bold, seedy cracker, these are it. Bonus: gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and keto-friendly (as long as you don’t eat the whole bag… ha! šŸ˜‚).

My fave way to eat them: Alone or with some creamy cheese spread (Taste Unlimited in VB has the best spreadable cheese 4 pack). Snack perfection.

That’s a wrap for this Halloween edition—have fun and stay safe tonight! A quick mom-nutrition PSA: don’t skip dinner, and have the kiddos eat some protein (and a little fiber) before trick-or-treating to help soften the sugar spike. Pace the candy, enjoy a few favorites, and save the rest for later. Make a memory, not a meltdown.
